Pustervik has been part of Gothenburg's entertainment and cultural life since the 1920s. In April 2012, Pustervik opened in its current form after extensive renovations. The old cinema and theatre hall became the primary concert venue with an openness and intimacy unusual for a stage of the same size. The focus has always been on the music and the meeting place, and the plan is to keep it that way. The programme now fills (almost) every day of the week and the goal is to contribute to the city and the region's cultural life through genre breadth and openness. Large and small organisations, local and international artists - everyone has a place under the Pustervik roof.
What’s happening:
We are thrilled that we will have our opening night of the 10th year of Gothenburg Fringe at Pustervik. We will celebrate together with our Preview Night no.1 followed by a concert of the local band ‘All my friends are stars’ to kick off the festival. Tickets are available on our website and cost this year due to the extended program of the night, 80 SEK.
