What happens when we experience the body not as a fixed form, but as a living, changing landscape? This Butoh-inspired psychophysical movement workshop explores presence and transformation through stillness, slowness, micro-movement, sensory awareness and evocative imagery. Guided exercises invite participants to listen closely to the body and discover how movement can emerge from internal sensations, textures, images and states.
Rather than teaching Butoh as a fixed style, Katerina shares an embodied methodology developed through more than twenty years of engagement with Butoh, physical performance and actor training.
The workshop is open to performers, dancers, actors, artists and anyone curious about embodied practice. No previous dance, Butoh or performance experience is required.
